I got me a white wristband at last!!

Well nothing much to report , I am now the happy owner of a MAKE POVERTY HISTORY wristband in a stylish shade of white. $2 to try and help end the world's suffering . Seeing as I only donate to the cancer research and Aids charity ,both because I know people who have them , I have noticed that most people I know donate to causes that have personally touched the people around them so it is very easy to see people starving on TV and feel bad but as it's not in your face you can kind of block it out.

I read about these in a mag and thought it would be a good way of making a tiny effort to help , of course the fact that it looks better then a pen or a badge only added to my urge...

Which made me think of what a society we have become ,if you can make anything "trendy" then more people will put their money where their heart is, myself included.
